The Iron Never Lies
The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all
kinds of talk, get told that you’re a god or a total bastard. The Iron
will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference
point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in
the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It
never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two
hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.
If you always put limits on everything you do physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There area only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.
In teams of 2, complete: 4- 3:00 minute intervals with 1:00 minute rest in between:
One athlete will complete 60 ft of Overhead walking lunges (25#plate/45#plate)
While One athlete completes the following:
3 Chest to Bar Pull Ups
3 DB Thrusters Right #45/#25
3 DB Thrusters Left #45/#25
12 Sit Ups
*When Athlete 1 finishes the lunges the athletes switch no matter where athlete 2 was at in the Pull-ups/Thrusters/Sit ups, compete rounds are scored when 3 c2b, 6 DB thrusters and 12 sit ups are complete. The score will be the total of FULL rounds complete per team.
